NU._.IRA Safety Training

Psychological safety training your people will use the next morning.

Practical courses built on ISO 45003 and CSA Z1003, for workplaces, frontline services and emergency management teams. One day for your people, three days for the people who lead them.

When the alarm sounds

A person cannot learn to read their own load from a slide.

Most training ends when the session does. Ours is built to be used: practical, experiential activities for every learning style, in plain language, taught by someone who has done the job. Each course ends with a knowledge check and a certificate of completion, and every standard seat includes the NUIRA Band and a month of the app, so the practice carries on after the day.

Finding steady ground

Three courses. Two for your people, one for the people who lead them.

Resonance

  • One day
  • In person or virtual
  • For workers

Practical, experiential training in regulation and stress resilience, tied directly to what the Band measures. Attendees learn resonance breathing in the room and leave able to practise it on their own.

Workplace Psychological Health and Safety

  • One day, seven hours with breaks
  • In person or virtual
  • For workers

Psychosocial hazards, worker rights and responsibilities, the early warning signs, and where to get help. Clear, practical and grounded in the standards.

Leading Psychological Safety

  • Three days
  • In person or virtual
  • For leaders

The standards in depth, the leader's legal and moral role, implementation planning, and resonance applied to leadership. Leaders leave ready to champion psychological safety inside their own service.

The two worker courses build on each other. The leader course creates the internal champion who carries the work forward.

Emergency management

9 courses for EOC and emergency social services teams.

Courses for the people who staff Emergency Operations Centres and deliver emergency social services, in any province, territory or state, with suggested courses for each role and funding routes wherever your team is.

Built on ISO 45003 and CSA Z1003.

Both standards ask employers to identify and control psychosocial hazards at work. Our courses teach those concepts in plain, original language and give your people a practical way to act on them.

General, or tailored to your service.

Every workplace course comes in two editions and two formats, so it speaks the language of the people in the room.

CSA Z1003 edition

Built on the National Standard of Canada for psychological health and safety in the workplace.

ISO 45003 edition

Built on ISO 45003:2021, the international guidance on psychological health and safety at work.

General or frontline

General courses use everyday examples from offices, retail, warehouses and similar settings. Frontline versions keep the same core and add sector examples, case studies, hazards, legal notes and support resources.

Frontline versions are available for nurses and healthcare workers, police officers, firefighters, paramedics and military personnel. Other groups on request, for example emergency dispatchers, corrections officers or search and rescue. More about frontline services

Take one breath with us.

Five seconds in, five seconds out. This is the pace your nervous system finds steady.

Recovery is a skill

How a training day runs.

One day, seven hours with breaks.

  1. Plain language, every learning style

Taught in plain language, with activities for every learning style and kindness throughout.

  2. The core of the day

Psychosocial hazards and their controls, rights and responsibilities, the early warning signs, critical events, and where to get help.

  3. A personal plan

Each participant leaves with a personal plan.

  4. A knowledge check

A certificate of completion after a knowledge check.

  5. After the day

Every attendee leaves with the NUIRA Band and a month of the app, so the practice continues on shift, at home and on the days in between.

Every attendee leaves with more than notes.

A certificate of completion

Awarded after a knowledge check at the end of the course, with a code an employer can check online.

A personal plan

On Workplace Psychological Health and Safety, each participant leaves with a personal plan.

The NUIRA Band and a month of the app

Theirs to keep with every standard seat, so what they practised in the room carries on at home and on shift. Membership continues only if they choose it.

Their own account

The relationship is with them, not their employer.

Safe to be honest in.

Nobody writes honestly into a system their employer might read. So we built it so nobody can.

  • The journal stays on the person's phone.
  • Your answers are stored securely so we can mark your knowledge check and issue your certificate. Your employer sees attendance, completion and whether you passed, never your individual answers.
  • A readiness check result is a personal reading only, never shared with the employer.

NUIRA is a wellness platform. It is not a medical device or a mental health treatment.

Built by someone who's been there

Built by someone who has carried the load.

Questions.

Is it a clinical or medical programme?

No. NUIRA is wellness training and a wellness platform. It does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it does not replace professional support.

What does the employer see?

Attendance and completion. Nothing about any individual's readings, journal or results.

Who keeps the Band?

The attendee. It is theirs, along with their account and their data.

What happens after the first month?

Attendees can continue membership at 12.22 CAD a month in Canada or 8.88 USD a month in the United States, if they choose. Nothing continues unless they opt in.

Do you deliver outside Canada?

In house delivery is in Canada. United States courses are delivered virtually, with Bands shipped domestically.

Does the purchase support anything beyond training?

Yes. 1.88 from every Band goes to frontline resilience support.

Bring it to your team.

Tell us about your people and we will shape the day around them.
